You can find the following statistics from Statistics Canada on a package of cigarettes;

500 people a year die from firearms in Canada.

2500 people a year are killed by drunk drivers.

5000 people a year commit suicide. (40% of these are white English males.)

150,000 die from smoking related diseases.

Following is another interesting statistic from Stats Canada;

24,000 people are killed by their doctor giving them the wrong prescription.

It should be noted from the statistics that guns don’t kill people, people kill people. A person pulls the trigger. A person takes a drink and drives the car. The car didn’t kill anyone, the person driving it did. Same as suicide; people kill themselves and many times others drive them to it. The primary reason for suicide in Canada is financial problems. Who owns Canada’s banks?

Collections of people, called corporations with limited legal liability make a fortune selling cigarettes laced with poisons and addictive substances. Legalized killing accounts for far more deaths in Canada. Doctors also have limited legal liability and you are 100 times as likely to die from a doctor giving you the wrong prescription as you are to get killed by a drunk driver.
